Swedish Dishcloth - Blue Fika

The Anneko Design Blue Fika Swedish Dishcloth (SKU: DT2501) is manufactured in Sweden according to the original 1949 Swedish formula. Composed of 70% natural cellulose and 30% organic cotton, this 7⅞" x 6¾" (20 cm x 17 cm) dishcloth is a sustainable alternative to paper towels and sponges.

The dishcloth absorbs up to 15 times its dry weight in liquid. With an operational lifespan of 6 to 12 months, one Anneko Design cloth replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towels. The non-abrasive, lint-free material is safe for delicate surfaces, including granite, quartz, stainless steel, laminate, and glass.

It features a firm, structured texture when dry and softens instantly when wet. Because the natural fibers dry rapidly, the cloth naturally inhibits microbial growth and prevents sour odors.

This durable, washable cloth can be sanitized using several methods:

• Washing Machine: Wash up to 190°F (90°C).
• Dishwasher: Place on the top rack.
• Microwave: Heat damp cloth on high for 1 minute.
• Boiling: Submerge in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes.
• Drying: Air-dry to preserve natural fibers and maintain dimensions.

The blue "Fika" design is printed with eco-friendly, water-based inks engineered not to fade or bleed during high-temperature washes. At the end of its lifespan, the 100% biodegradable and compostable cloth decomposes completely within weeks in home or municipal compost systems.
